Here are some Spooky Halloween Spiders!
I decided to have a go at a new to me technique called a Radial Gradient, If you haven’t come across this before, it’s circular so instead of painting the polish across the sponge you paint it in a circle, then apply it to the nail in the same way.
I think that for a first attempt I was far to ambitious trying to use four shades (I should have tried with two to start with)
The products I used are
- A England – Elaine
- Revlon – Amethyst
- China Glaze – Get Outta My Space
- Revlon – Stiletto
- Stamping Plate – Moyou Suki 10
- Hit The Bottle – Black
- Seche Vite
- Makeup Sponge
For the gradient I used Stiletto, Elaine, Amethyst and Get Outta My Space, then a coat of Seche Vite.
When that had dried I used Black Hit The Bottle stamping polish and Moyou Suki plate 10 for the spiders and webs then another coat of SV to finish it off.
I have so many ideas for Halloween nail art that I think it’s going to take me all month to share them all! 🙂

Holographic Watermarble
Here’s my pick and mix mani for this week! I chose holographic from this weeks two prompts!
China Glaze Get Outta My Space and OPI Lincoln Park After Dark.
For this watermarble I used China Glaze Get Outta My Space and OPI Lincoln Park After Dark along with Barry M Black for the base colour.
In the sun
There was even a tiny bit of actual sunshine, in between the rain and hail. Yay! 😀
shades of pink purple and silver
I’m surprised that with using just these two polishes, there are so many shades of pink and purple in this mani!
I think I’m going to have to do some watermarble experimenting with dark colours! 😀

Three Shades Of Purple
Here is my three shades of purple nails for the pick and mix challenge this week.
All The Striping Tape
The three purple polishes I used are
- Chanel – Vendetta
- Barielle – Grape Escape
- China Glaze – Get Outta My Space
I also used striping tape and Seche Vite topcoat.
Stripy!
I seem to always be surprised that using striping tape always takes so long lol.

This is my inspired by a tutorial post for day 30, The tutorial I decided to follow is this rather amazing one that I have been meaning to try for ages.
Nimbus Nail Art From The Nailasaurus!
Nimbus Nail Art
The polishes I used are
- China Glaze – White on White
- Chanel – Vendetta
- China Glaze – Get Outta My Space
- Revlon – Amethyst
- China Glaze – Bizarre Blurple
- Sally Hansen – Good To Grape
Purple Nimbus Nails
I found that the Nimbus technique is really fun! And definitely something that I’m going to try again!
I started out with a couple of coats of white on white as the base, then starting with Vendetta which is the darkest polish I used a cotton bud soaked in acetone and polish to dot on the colour.
When each colour was dry I repeated the process (with a new cotton bud for each colour)
Then I finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite!
Purple Nimbus Nails
I couldn’t resist doing a bit of stamping over this 🙂
I used Plate MM07 from Messy Mansion, this is the first time I’ve used this plate and it’s really lovely! I used Konad SP Black then another coat of Seche Vite

Galaxy Nails
The polishes I used for this are,
- Twilight -Filthy Gorgeous
- Strap On Your Moon Boots – China Glaze
- Ruby Sapphire – Sally Hansen
- Get Outta My Space – China Glaze
- Barry M Nail are pens in black and silver
- Seche Vite
Purple Holographic Galaxy Nails
I decided on the China Glaze polishes as I wanted this to be shimmery, without being too metallic (if that makes any sense) and the Ruby Sapphire for it’s lovely purple blue duo-chrome shift!
After I had sponged on the galaxy pattern I used the silver nail art pen to draw on the stars. I couldn’t resist the little UFO! 😀
Then I sealed it all in with a coat of Seche Vite

Pink Roses
My flowery nails for day 14! For a change I decided to stamp with white polish!
I started with a coat of China Glaze White On White, then I used the cling film technique to apply
- Maybelline – Lilac Charm
- Sally Hansen – Lavender Envy
- China Glaze – Get Outta My Space
- Sally Hansen – Good To Grape
- Minnie Mouse – Pink
I ended up with really pretty pale pinky/purple sparkly nails that looked like marble!
For the stamping I used some more White On White with Pro collection 07 XL from Moyou.
