Pink Roses
My flowery nails for day 14! For a change I decided to stamp with white polish!
I started with a coat of China Glaze White On White, then I used the cling film technique to apply
- Maybelline – Lilac Charm
- Sally Hansen – Lavender Envy
- China Glaze – Get Outta My Space
- Sally Hansen – Good To Grape
- Minnie Mouse – Pink
I ended up with really pretty pale pinky/purple sparkly nails that looked like marble!
For the stamping I used some more White On White with Pro collection 07 XL from Moyou.

Black and white Gradient
Here are my gradient nails for day 10! I decided to go with a very simple black and white with studs for today.
I used
- White On White – China Glaze
- Pure Midnight – Sally Hansen
- Black Magic – Revlon
- L’Oreal – Confettis
- Nail Studs
- Color Club Topcoat
- Makeup Sponge

Black and White Gradient Nail Art
Starting out with a base of white on white, I built up the gradient with Black Magic, Pure Midnight and White on White  on the makeup sponge, it took three coats, then I applied a coat of confettis and some topcoat.
Then using a bit more topcoat as glue I stuck the nail studs on!

Maybelline Electric Yellow and China Glaze White On White
Here are my yellow nails for day 3 of the 31DC2014 challenge.
for this I started with three coats of Electric Yellow from Maybelline Color Show, then I used White On White from China Glaze for the freehand V shaped french tips, then I added the dots with a medium sized dotting tool!
This was a really quick and easy design to do (which I’m really glad about, I probably should have thought through doing two challenges at the same time!)

I still don’t like yellow

Braided Rose Nail Art
I decided that I wanted some pretty spring time nails! And here they are! 😀
I started by making the rose decals, for these I used
- Sally Hansen – Grass Slipper
- China Glaze – Near Dark
- Rimmel – Double Decker Red
- Sinful Colors – A Slice To Go (striper)
- China Glaze – White On White
- Color Club – Top Coat

Braided Rose Nail Art
I applied a coat of white on white over my base coat, for two reasons the first so that the greens would pop and the second being that green stains my nails more than any other colour!
For the braid I used
- Zoya – Logan
- China Glaze – Agro
- L’oreal – Owl’s Night
- China Glaze – White On White
After I finished my braided nails I ended up having to do some washing up (ugh) and the tips of my nails ended up with a few little chips 😦 Booo!
I applied my rose decals with a little bit of color club top coat, then sealed them in with another coat over the top.

Braided Rose Nail Art
I think the greens I chose where a little too dark but it still looks pretty 🙂

Fried egg nails
Here are my yellow nails for the GOT Polish Challenge! I really don’t like yellow nail polish so this was actually quite difficult for me to come up with anything interesting, I was just staring at the bottles of polish waiting for some kind of inspiration.
I only have 3 bottles of yellow nail polish and one of those is new, so my yellow choices where rather limited, eventually I chose this!

This is a polish I have had for a while, it came free with some cleaning stuff oO (I’m not going to start on gender stereotyping… But Yay for free nail polish lol)

Fried eggs
I don’t like fried eggs, and I don’t like yellow nail polish so it’s a match made in heaven (or hell depending on how you look at it)
I applied two coats of not marigold yellow then added the egg whites with China Glaze White on White and a large dotting tool, then for the yokes, some more Not Marigold and a medium sized dotting tool!

Yellow nails
Don’t forget to have a look at the Pinterest page for the GOT Polish Challenge

I still don’t like yellow!

I actually had some time to do some nail art! Yay! 😀 So here is a very sparkly water marble!

Sparkly Blue Water Marble
The polishes I used are
- White on White – China Glaze
- Tempest – China Glaze
- Thinking Of Blue – Sally Hansen
- Dive Deeper – Sally Hansen
- Sparkling Silver – No7
- Topcoat – Color Club
I started with a coat of White on White, when that was dry I taped my fingers and started on the water marble. I started with two drops of Thinking of Blue, Tempest then Dive Deeper, followed by two rounds of one drop of each polish in the same order (if that makes any sense)
I created the petal pattern by dragging the polish out from the center with a tooth pick, and then back from the outside to the center between the petals.
After I dipped my nails, waited a bit for them to dry and cleaned round my cuticles I added a coat of Sparkling silver then I finished it off with my top coat!

Sparkly Blue Water Marble
I really do like how my middle finger turned out! 😀
