Something rather strange happened today… I was planning on creating a stamped gradient but I did the sponging and my nails where so pretty that I just couldn’t bring myself to stamp over them! oO
Blue Black Gradient
I started with two coats of Black Magic from Revlon, and made the gradient with Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Pure Midnight and Cold Metal from Color Club.
It’s so shimmery and sparkly! 😀

It’s my birthday today! Yay! 😀
As I didn’t (as ever) get a pet dragon as a birthday gift, (it’s not like I don’t keep asking,)
I shall have dragon inspired nails instead! 😀
My Birthday Dragon Nails!
I started with two coats of Black Magic from Revlon. I used Cosmic Dust From China Glaze for the stamping. I keep saying to myself that I really should get the rest of the polishes from the China Glaze Holographic collection, but for some reason I keep forgetting 
they are so wonderful for stamping!
The images are from the Scaly Things MM21 plate by Messy Mansion, and I finished it with a coat of Seche Vite.
Dragon Nails!
I like these dragon nails! I really want to do this but with a green glitter polish as the base colour 😀
Because it’s my birthday I’m going to go have cake for breakfast! 😀

This was my very first post and I still absolutely love this! Well apart from the terrible clean up 😀 Pink silver glitter is one of my favorite Barry M polishes to stamp over!

Halloween Nail Art
I love Halloween and this has been my most popular post! Way more popular than I ever thought! 🙂 So a huge thank you to everyone that shared it! 😀 But lets ignore how painfully dry my poor hands are in the photo, and that dreadful watermark lol!
First Attempt At Braided Nail Art

This was my first attempt at braided nails and it’s a technique that I really enjoy! next year I’m hopefully going to be doing a lot more like this! And maybe even a tutorial! 😀
Matte Cherry Blossom
And finally the matte cherry blossom nails, It reminded me how much I love my matte polish!
Looking back through these five pictures I can see how much my photography skills have improved, as well as my photo editing/watermarking, as well as the overall health of my hands and nails 🙂 Not too bad for four months! 😀

Has it really been over a week since my last post? Ooops! I guess I was so wrapped up in Christmas and other stuff that I didn’t even notice!
Anyway I hope your Christmas has been wonderful and filled with shiny things!
For this I started with two coats of Barielle Shades Grape Escape, which is a lovely purple creme followed by two coats of Orly Can’t Be Tamed, Large purple hex and smaller silver hex glitter in a clear base. It’s a really pretty polish but I found that it needed a lot of dabbing to get an even coat of the glitter.
This ended up as a stamped skittle mani because I just couldn’t decide on what I wanted to do!
I used Bundle Monster CYO set, BM-408 for my Thumb, BM-412 on my Middle Finger, BM-411 for the index finger (mutters about the image not being straight) and BM-423 for my ring and pinky fingers! and finished it off with a thick coat of Seche Vite.
I got a bit carried away with the filing and now I have rather stubby nails! But I have to say it is great to be able to type, use my phone properly and do everything else! 😀
Christmas Nails
For the Background colour I used a gradient of Sally Hansen – Dive Deeper, Nina Ultra Pro – French White and Revlon – Calla lily.
For the winter trees I used Revlon – Black Magic and a thin nail art brush.
I used Revlon Matte Suede – Emerald City For the Christmas tree with a little bit of the french white for the snow, the little ornaments I used Barry M – Red Glitter and China Glaze – Glitter Goblin, along with my smallest dotting tool.
The snowflakes are a small dotting tool and some more french white.
For the reindeer I used stamping plate HD05 and Konad SP In Black, with a tiny bit of red glitter for his nose, I finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite.

I don’t do much free hand nail art, I should probably practice a bit 🙂
The Birds!
I am still loving my new Messy Mansion plates! 😀 I have been wanting the Birdy plate for ages! And it really is as lovely as I thought it would be! 😀

As soon as I saw the plate I thought of the 1963 Hitchcock film The Birds! 😀
I started with a sponged Gradient using Grey from Barry M and Pumice from Sally Hansen, I let the polish dry a little on the sponge so it would look grainy.
I used black stamping polish from Konad, followed by a coat of Seche Vite, followed by a coat of matte topcoat, I used a coat of SV because my ELF matte topcoat just smears the stamped image really badly (which is why my thumb is hiding!).
Now I think it’s time to file my nails because typing is becoming a bit of a challenge lol! 🙂
