I’m not feeling very festive at the moment so I decided that trying a candy cane mani might be a good way to get into the Christmas spirit!
First I tried the traditional red and white candy cane but it looked dreadful 
I think it’s to do with my skin tone or maybe the white polish had chosen gah!
The Red Glitter polish from Barry M is a fantastic varnish, but it’s a monster to remove. Even with the foil method! But not to be disheartened, even after chasing the glitter around my fingers for what seemed like hours. I started again.
This time with the Black Magic from Revlon as the base colour. To cover the textured-ness of the red glitter I used a thick coat of Seche Vite.
Bah! Humbug.
It’s really quite vampy but still a tiny bit festive! Or maybe a bit Dennis the Menace Lol!

I received my new Messy Mansion plates this week! 😀 I chose MM21 which is the Scaly Things plate, MM16 William Morris and friends and MM14 the Birdy plate. The image for today is from The scaly things plate! which you can find here
Gradient With Scaly Things!
For the Gradient I used Tanzanite and Aquamarine both from the Chroma Chameleon collection by Revlon, I found the polishes are a bit on the thin side, so I applied the gradient over a coat of black polish to make the colours pop. For the stamping I used Konad SP in black and finished it with a coat of Seche Vite!

Here’s my first Wintery/Christmas nails for this year! 😀
I used Sally Hansen Dive Deeper as the base colour for this mani, it’s a really pretty pale blue frosty colour with loads of white, silver and iridescent shimmer and micro glitters! I applied two thin coats, then used a small dotting too to add a few dots of White on White from China Glaze. I applied another two coats of Dive Deeper, after the dots had dried. The stamping plate that I used for the snowflakes is HD 05 from Cute (I think) and I used White on White for the image. I finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite.

Poke, Snap and Scorn
The nail polishes I used for this are all from Illamasqua poke (purple shimmer) snap (silver) and scorn (black creme). Scorn has a semi matte/rubberized finish that I had completely forgotten about but the coat of Seche Vite made it all really glossy 🙂

Yay! my finger has nearly healed! I had a nasty washing up accident and It’s been looking horrible for days
I found my bottle of Twisted from Urban Decay while I was tidying up! 😀 And I couldn’t wait to show you all!

Look at the lovely gold sparklyness! I have to say that this is one of the few gold shades that I like, I’m not a big fan of yellow shades, This is more of an antique gold, there’s no metallic yellow here 😀
I was just going to do a quick swatch of this polish but then my Bundle Monster plates arrived! and I couldn’t wait to play with them! I Chose the CYO set, there are so many interesting images, completely different to any other BM collections!

Look! the images are just the right size for my finger nails *happy dance* I’ll do a full review of the set soon! 😀

I have had a crazy few days! I have finally got an Allotment! Yay! 😀 but it’s really overgrown :s I think it’s going to take a huge amount of work to get it to the point where I can start growing stuff and I dread to think about what all that is going to do to my nails! 
For my nails today I started with three coats of Wanna Samba? from Barielle Shades which is a lovely silvery duo-chrome, My photos seem to only show the silver/green tones, so you’ll have to take my word on the pink and purple 🙂
The Black Is konad special polish and the stamping plate I used is Messy Mansion Plate MM09 I finished it off with a thick coat of Seche Vite.
I love how this looks a bit like wrapping paper! 😀
