Here’s my pick and Mix Valentines day Mani!
Obligatory Valentine’s Day Nails!
I used two lovely ILNP polishes, Birefringence and My Private Rainbow as well as black and silver nail art pens from Barry M.
Birefringence and My Private Rainbow
I started with a coat of black polish then two coats of Birefringence, then another two coats of My Private Rainbow. then when that had all dried I drew the little hearts with the Barry M nail art pens.
Barry M Nail Art Pens
blue white and silver flowers
For todays pick and mix challenge I have used both prompts! Pale Blue and Flowers! 😀
medium size dotting tool
For this look I used
- Azure – Rimmel London
- Tea Bird – Filthy Gorgeous
- Snow Me White – Sinful Colors
- Oyster Bar – Sally Hansen, Triple Shine
- Matte Finisher – E.L.F
- Seche Vite
- Medium Dotting Tool
- Fine Nail Art Brush
Over the two coats of azure, I applied Snow Me White to the tips of my nails, then I used Oyster Bar to cover the edge (I didn’t use any tip guides so the lines where a bit wobbly).
For the flowers I used a medium sized dotting tool with some more Azure and Snow Me white, then a little dot of Tea Bird in the center.
I then finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite, then when that had dried a coat of Matte Finisher.
Azure, Tea Bird, Oyster Bar and Snow Me White
Hey everyone 🙂
Today I have another mani for the pick and mix challenge! This weeks prompts are fire and three shades of green or yellow, and as I’m really not in a green/yellow mood, it had to be purple! 😀
Messy Mansion MM27
For this I used Sally Hansen HD in Cyber, I’d Melt For You from China Glaze (only because it was on my desk and I didn’t feel like hunting through my collection to find another good silver for stamping) and Konad Special polish in Black.
The stamping plate is MM27 from Messy Mansion, you can find that here, Messy Mansion MM27
Cyber, I’d Melt For You, and Konad Black
Here’s my pick and mix mani for this week! I chose holographic from this weeks two prompts!
China Glaze Get Outta My Space and OPI Lincoln Park After Dark.
For this watermarble I used China Glaze Get Outta My Space and OPI Lincoln Park After Dark along with Barry M Black for the base colour.
In the sun
There was even a tiny bit of actual sunshine, in between the rain and hail. Yay! 😀
shades of pink purple and silver
I’m surprised that with using just these two polishes, there are so many shades of pink and purple in this mani!
I think I’m going to have to do some watermarble experimenting with dark colours! 😀
Dotty French Manicurer
For this weeks (actually on time) Pick and Mix challenge I chose to use the dotting tools prompt, I really wasn’t feeling in a pink ans aqua mood!
China Glaze – I’d Melt For You and Morgan Taylor – New Year New Blue
For this I used China Glaze I’d Melt For You and Morgan Taylor New Year New Blue I picked up both of these from my local Sallys. They where reduced… How could I refuse? lol
I applied two coats of New Year New Blue, this is the first Morgan Taylor polish I have tried, and I love it! the brush, the polish formula and the drying time are all perfect!
I’d Melt For You looks like it will be an amazing stamper, it dries really quickly too!
All Of The Dots!
Here’s the 52 Week Pick and Mix Pinterest Page where you can see loads more of the wonderful challenge manis 🙂
Todays nails are actually the ones I created for last weeks pick and mix challenge, I just didn’t have time to post them, so here they are now 🙂
I used a base of China Glaze Galactic Grey, Over the top I stamped an image from Messy Mansion plate MM16 using Konad SP black Than a coat of Seche Vite and a quick clean up and it was finished!
It took 20 minutes including drying times! 🙂
