Black and white Gradient
Here are my gradient nails for day 10! I decided to go with a very simple black and white with studs for today.
I used
- White On White – China Glaze
- Pure Midnight – Sally Hansen
- Black Magic – Revlon
- L’Oreal – Confettis
- Nail Studs
- Color Club Topcoat
- Makeup Sponge

Black and White Gradient Nail Art
Starting out with a base of white on white, I built up the gradient with Black Magic, Pure Midnight and White on White on the makeup sponge, it took three coats, then I applied a coat of confettis and some topcoat.
Then using a bit more topcoat as glue I stuck the nail studs on!

Rainbow Nails
here are my rainbow nails for day 9 I started with a coat of white, I used Ivory Skull from Sally Hansen.
Then I used these polishes for the gradient,
- Illamasqua – Poke
- China Glaze – Frostbite
- Sinful Colors – Happy Ending
- Maybelline – Electric
- Rimmel – Double Decker Red
It took three coats, then I applied a thin coat of Prism from Filthy Gorgeous for some sparkle.
After fighting with nail tape for around half an hour I gave up and freehand painted the stripes, which is why they are a bit wobbly lol!

I think these are a bit too bright and colorful for me!

Stamped metallic gradient
Here are my metallic nails for day 8!
For this I used Dazzle from Orly, Black Magic from Revlon and Konad SP black.
I started with a couple of coats of Dazzle, then I created the gradient using Black Magic and a make up sponge.
The using some more Dazzle and konad SP in black I stamped the image over the gradient!
I finished it off with a coat of color club topcoat!

Metallic Nails
This didn’t turn out quite as crisp as I was hoping, but it’s nice enough! 🙂

Black and White skittle
My Black and White nails, I couldn’t resist another skittle for this! 😀
The Polishes I used are,
- China Glaze White on White
- Elegant Touch French Manicure White
- Sally Hansen Pure Midnight
- Filthy Gorgeous Twilight
- L’Oreal Confettis
- Konad SP Black
My first step was to paint all my nails with two coats of White on White.
For my thumb I used Twilight and White on White. Starting with a simple french tip, (I used a guide) I added the first dots with a medium dotting tool, then with a thin brush I filled in the gaps, then added the second dots with a small sized dotting tool.
For my index finger over the White on White I used Konad Black with Suki 06 XL plate from Moyou.

Black and White skittle
On my middle finger I used French Manicure White, Pure Midnight and Twilight for the sponged gradient, it took three layers before it was ‘gradienty’ enough then I added the Confettis, I found the brush for the glitter topcoat was rather scratchy, I don’t know if it was bits of glitter in the brush or the brush itself, it scraped some of my gradient 😦
For the water marble I used French Manicure White and Twilight. Both of these polishes worked really well, they even spread over the water at the same rate! 😀
Finally for my little finger I used some more Twilight and a medium dotting tool!
Then when it was dry I applied my topcoat and had a cup of tea!

Purple Waterfall Nails
Here are my violet/purple nails for day 6
For this waterfall mani I used
- China Glaze – Bizarre Blurple
- Illamasqua- Faux Pas
- Max Factor – Fantasy Fire
- Color Club – Secret Agent
- Sally Hansen – Ruby Sapphire
- Sinful Colors – Mauve

Purple Waterfall
I started with a base of two coats of Mauve from Sinful colors, then I added the other purple colored polishes with a thin nail art brush.
I really like waterfall nails, it really is such an easy (if a little time consuming) technique 🙂

Turquoise Nails
After having a quick hunt about on the interwebs for blue nails trying to get some inspiration I came across loads of pictures of Turquoise gem stone nails, and this is my attempt at them! 🙂
For this I started with two coats of Air-kiss from Filthy Gorgeous which is a lovely mid blue cream.

Turquoise Water Spotted Nails
Then when it was dry I used cling film (saran wrap) to apply Catwalk Couture from Seventeen which is a slightly paler blue cream polish, along with a couple of drops each of Golden from Revlon and Antiquated from Color Club, and a tiny bit of Blue-Topia a dark blue jelly also from Color Club I put them all onto a plate and swirled the polishes around a little then gently dabbed the mixture onto my nails.

Turquoise Nails
Then using Twilight from Filthy Gorgeous (which is also a really good black for water marbling) I used the water spotting technique to apply the black, and I should probably stop using my expensive perfume to do water spotting, but my nails smell lovely after lol!
Then I used Color Club Topcoat, and unfortunately ended up with a little bit of dragging on my thumb
I’m definitely going to be doing this again, hopefully when I can keep my nail art on for longer than 24 hours! 😀
