Black And Teal Bamboo Nails!

Here’s some pretty bamboo nails that I did a couple of weeks ago, I didn’t have a chance to post them at the time 😦 but here they are now! πŸ™‚

I used Plate Moyou XL Suki Collection 06 and for the base colour I used Black from Barry M, The silvery teal colour that I used for the stamping is Masquerading from color club. Then I sealed it all in with a coat of Seche Vite.

Halloween Spooky Green Spider Nail Art!

Behold! My spooky spider Halloween nails! πŸ˜€

Spooky Spiders!

Spooky Spiders!

I started off with a couple of coats of Happy Ending from Sinfulcolors which is a bright green with gold shimmer, when it was dry I used the cling film technique with Emerald City Which is a sparkly Matte polish from Revlon, I followed that with a coat of Seche Vite.

The spiderweb image is from Moyou from the Pro Collection XL 05 I used Night Moves from Barielle Shades, I find that It’s a really good silver polish for stamping, then another coat of Seche Vite.

For the spiders I used Konad special polish in black and my unbranded Halloween plated that I picked up on ebay, they are not the best quality but I like the images πŸ™‚ And then, yes you have guessed it, another coat of SV. I like to use SV in between each layer of stamping in case I mess up the next image, this way I can carefully take off the offending bit of polish with a cotton bud dipped in acetone with out having to start again πŸ™‚

China Glaze Glitter Goblin Nail Stamp!

For this I used three coats of Glitter Goblin from china glaze for the base colour. It is a lovely copper and silver holographic glitter polish, Glitter Goblin is from the 2012 Wicked Halloween collection, it’s not a new polish but I really like it πŸ™‚ The stamp image is from Moyou XL Suki Collection 06. For the stamping I used KonadΒ  Special polish in Black, then finished it with a coat of Seche Vite.

Glittery! :)

Glittery! πŸ™‚

I think that the stamp would look better over a creme/metallic polish, it’s really quite detailed and it unfortunately seems to get lost in all the glitter! 😦 I think next time I’ll use a less detailed image, maybe thick tiger stripes! πŸ˜€

Glow In The Dark Halloween Spooky Bat Nail Art

My bottle of Ghoulish Glow from china glaze arrived today! And I couldn’t wait to try it out!

the design for my nails is very similar to the Halloween nails I posted a couple of weeks ago… But with a lot more bats! πŸ˜€

For the base gradient I used Secret Agent which is a purple metallic and Masquerading which is a lovely silvery teal, both of these polishes are from color club. I then applied two coats of Ghoulish Glow, In the bottle the polish looks like a pale cream colour, luckily it didn’t affect the base colours too much, it just made them look a little foggy. I used Konad special polish in black for the stamping, then I finished off with a coat of Seche Vite.

I am really surprised about how well Ghoulish Glow works πŸ™‚

Shiny Silver nails with Moyou Suki Collection plate 06!

Continuing with my little challenge of using some of the stamping images that I haven’t used yet here is another image from the Moyou XL Suki Collection 06 plate.

Moyou Suki Collection Plate 06

Moyou Suki Collection Plate 06

This is a really lovely image, it was really easy to transfer onto my nails πŸ™‚ It’s one my favorite images from this plate and I’m glad I got to use it for this πŸ™‚

The silver foil polish is Night moves from Barielle Shades, for the stamping I used Konad Special stamping polish in black (I really have to buy some more) and a coat of Seche Vite.

Pink Silver Glitter MoYou Suki Collection Nail Stamp! (And a Challenge To Myself)

I have given myself a little challenge, well not so much of a challenge maybe more of an ultimatum…

I own a quite a few stamping plates from MoYou. I really like them, They are really good quality and the images are fantastic! The XL size is perfect, unfortunately the standard size is a little to small, but I find that with most stamping plates. Maybe my nails are just to long for them πŸ™‚

I realized that I only use a couple of images from each plate, so, my challenge to myself is to use the images I wouldn’t usually choose, or ones that I haven’t used, and at least three from each plate! and when I have done that then I will buy some more! πŸ˜€ And by some I mean the whole Mother Nature Collection which I absolutely love!

This is my first one πŸ˜€

Moyou Suki Collection Plate XL 06

The image I have chosen is from Moyou XL Suki Collection 06 I haven’t used this image before (not even to try out) because I think it looks a bit like an orange or maybe a grapefruit slice! If you know what the image is please let me know!

For this I started out with two coats of pink silver glitter, from Barry M, with two coats of Frilly Knickers from Butter London on top. This picture unfortunately doesn’t show anywhere near how sparkly the polish is. For the stamping I used Konad Special Polish in black. Then as ever finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite.

Now that I actually have this image on my nails I actually quite like it! πŸ˜€
