I had to cut my nails! *CRIES* I had a washing up accident and broke two of them D: Now that I have short nails my fingers feel all weird… I don’t think I like it…

Pink Glittery Zebra Nails
For this I used Heli-yum from China Glaze as the base colour, It is a lovely rich pink cream, I used two coats, I followed that with Make A Spectacle also from China glaze, which is a pretty and very sparkly iridescent hex and micro glitter in a clear base.
The zebra stamp is from Moyou it’s Pro Collection Plate 4. I used konad special polish in black for the stamping.
The topcoat I used was 60 second fast dry topcoat from color club,ย I have decided to finish the bottle before I open my next bottle of Seche Vite!

Behold! My spooky spider Halloween nails! ๐

Spooky Spiders!
I started off with a couple of coats of Happy Ending from Sinfulcolors which is a bright green with gold shimmer, when it was dry I used the cling film technique with Emerald City Which is a sparkly Matte polish from Revlon, I followed that with a coat of Seche Vite.
The spiderweb image is from Moyou from the Pro Collection XL 05 I used Night Moves from Barielle Shades, I find that It’s a really good silver polish for stamping, then another coat of Seche Vite.
For the spiders I used Konad special polish in black and my unbranded Halloween plated that I picked up on ebay, they are not the best quality but I like the images ๐ And then, yes you have guessed it, another coat of SV. I like to use SV in between each layer of stamping in case I mess up the next image, this way I can carefully take off the offending bit of polish with a cotton bud dipped in acetone with out having to start again ๐

For this I used three coats of Glitter Goblin from china glaze for the base colour. It is a lovely copper and silver holographic glitter polish, Glitter Goblin is from the 2012 Wicked Halloween collection, it’s not a new polish but I really like it ๐ The stamp image is from Moyou XL Suki Collection 06. For the stamping I used Konadย Special polish in Black, then finished it with a coat of Seche Vite.

Glittery! ๐
I think that the stamp would look better over a creme/metallic polish, it’s really quite detailed and it unfortunately seems to get lost in all the glitter! ๐ฆ I think next time I’ll use a less detailed image, maybe thick tiger stripes! ๐

Continuing with my little challenge of using some of the stamping images that I haven’t used yet here is another image from the Moyou XL Suki Collection 06 plate.

Moyou Suki Collection Plate 06
This is a really lovely image, it was really easy to transfer onto my nails ๐ It’s one my favorite images from this plate and I’m glad I got to use it for this ๐
The silver foil polish is Night moves from Barielle Shades, for the stamping I used Konad Special stamping polish in black (I really have to buy some more) and a coat of Seche Vite.

I have given myself a little challenge, well not so much of a challenge maybe more of an ultimatum…
I own a quite a few stamping plates from MoYou. I really like them, They are really good quality and the images are fantastic! The XL size is perfect, unfortunately the standard size is a little to small, but I find that with most stamping plates. Maybe my nails are just to long for them ๐
I realized that I only use a couple of images from each plate, so, my challenge to myself is to use the images I wouldn’t usually choose, or ones that I haven’t used, and at least three from each plate! and when I have done that then I will buy some more! ๐ And by some I mean the whole Mother Nature Collection which I absolutely love!
This is my first one ๐

The image I have chosen is from Moyou XL Suki Collection 06 I haven’t used this image before (not even to try out) because I think it looks a bit like an orange or maybe a grapefruit slice! If you know what the image is please let me know!
For this I started out with two coats of pink silver glitter, from Barry M, with two coats of Frilly Knickers from Butter London on top. This picture unfortunately doesn’t show anywhere near how sparkly the polish is. For the stamping I used Konad Special Polish in black. Then as ever finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite.
Now that I actually have this image on my nails I actually quite like it! ๐

Glitter Leopard Gradient Nails
I started with one coat of Amethyst from Sinful Colors, this polish is a really nice colour, it’s a mid purple creme, (I’ll do a swatch at some point) I used it as a base colour to tone down the very bright pink polish I chose for the gradient.
For the sponged gradient I used Black on Black also from Sinful Colors and Ulterior Motive from Color Club, which is a fantastic bright magenta pink jelly with iridescent pink and blue micro glitter. The gradient took two coats, I had to work very quickly as the glitter kept sticking to the sponge!
For the leopard print I used Moyou XL Pro Collection 04, and Konad special polish in black.
I finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite. Not including the clean up this only took me 15 minutes!
