I have had a crazy few days! I have finally got an Allotment! Yay! ๐ but it’s really overgrown :s I think it’s going to take a huge amount of work to get it to the point where I can start growing stuff and I dread to think about what all that is going to do to my nails!

For my nails today I started with three coats ofย Wanna Samba? from Barielle Shades which is a lovely silvery duo-chrome, My photos seem to only show the silver/green tones, so you’ll have to take my word on the pink and purple ๐
The Black Is konad special polish and the stamping plate I used is Messy Mansion Plate MM09 I finished it off with a thick coat of Seche Vite.

I love how this looks a bit like wrapping paper! ๐

After all the experimenting with crackle polishes I thought I should let my poor fingers have a rest from the polish remover for a couple of days! I have been using loads of Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream, and thankfully now I no longer have quite so crispy cuticles ๐

Today I found my e.l.f Matte topcoat! ๐ It was rather dried out and unhappy looking ๐ฆ but with a bit of acetone and a good mix it is back to it’s very non shiny self! ๐
For this I started with a coat of Greige Gardens from Sally Hansen, when the first coat had dried I used the Greige Gardens and Amethyst from Sinfulcolors for the sponged gradient, this took three coats! The Cherry Blossom stamp is from Moyou Suki collection 02 I used Konad special polish for the image, One coat of Seche Vite to seal the image. Then when it had dried I applied my revitalized e.l.f. Matte topcoat.
I had forgotten how scratchy the brush is in the matte topcoat so I ended up using one of my larger nail art brushes to apply it.
I had also forgotten how much I love Matte polish! ๐

I started with a sponged gradient of Sinful colors Paradise which is a light blue creme and Daredevil the bright pink, then one thin coat of Ariel from Chit Chat, which is a blue holo glitter in a clear base.
I used Konad SP in black for the flowers, the stamping plate is Moyou Suki collection 02 Then a coat of color club top coat.

Halloween Blood And Flies
For this bloody look I started with base coat and a nude base colour I used nude from Barry M.
Starting with the darkest red which is Perfect Plum From Sally Hansen new lengths range, I dabbed it in patches over my nails, I used the same technique with Ravishing Dahling from China Glaze, so I had patches of dark red.
While it was still wet I added Double Decker Red from Rimmel London over the unpainted parts of the nail, then some patches of Elle’s Spell from Barielle Shades for some sparkle! Then While it was still wet I mixed it about a little with a dotting tool to give it a slightly marbled look.
This took ages to dry even with fast dry top coat! but when it eventually was I used the Halloween stamping plate from Messy Mansion for the flies with Konad SP in Black. I finished it with one last coat of fast dry top coat from Color Club.

I had to cut my nails! *CRIES* I had a washing up accident and broke two of them D: Now that I have short nails my fingers feel all weird… I don’t think I like it…

Pink Glittery Zebra Nails
For this I used Heli-yum from China Glaze as the base colour, It is a lovely rich pink cream, I used two coats, I followed that with Make A Spectacle also from China glaze, which is a pretty and very sparkly iridescent hex and micro glitter in a clear base.
The zebra stamp is from Moyou it’s Pro Collection Plate 4. I used konad special polish in black for the stamping.
The topcoat I used was 60 second fast dry topcoat from color club,ย I have decided to finish the bottle before I open my next bottle of Seche Vite!

For this I used three coats of Glitter Goblin from china glaze for the base colour. It is a lovely copper and silver holographic glitter polish, Glitter Goblin is from the 2012 Wicked Halloween collection, it’s not a new polish but I really like it ๐ The stamp image is from Moyou XL Suki Collection 06. For the stamping I used Konadย Special polish in Black, then finished it with a coat of Seche Vite.

Glittery! ๐
I think that the stamp would look better over a creme/metallic polish, it’s really quite detailed and it unfortunately seems to get lost in all the glitter! ๐ฆ I think next time I’ll use a less detailed image, maybe thick tiger stripes! ๐
