Purple and Pink Glitter Leopard Nail Art

Glitter Leopard Gradient Nails

Glitter Leopard Gradient Nails

I started with one coat of Amethyst from Sinful Colors, this polish is a really nice colour, it’s a mid purple creme, (I’ll do a swatch at some point) I used it as a base colour to tone down the very bright pink polish I chose for the gradient.

For the sponged gradient I used Black on Black also from Sinful Colors and Ulterior Motive from Color Club, which is a fantastic bright magenta pink jelly with iridescent pink and blue micro glitter. The gradient took two coats, I had to work very quickly as the glitter kept sticking to the sponge!

For the leopard print I used Moyou XL Pro Collection 04, and Konad special polish in black.

I finished it off with a coat of Seche Vite. Not including the clean up this only took me 15 minutes!

Steel Of The Night Magnetic Polish From Color Club Swatch

Steel Of The Night Magnetic Polish from the Magnetic Force range.

This polish really surprised me by how good it is! I haven’t had much of a chance to play with magnetic polishes by other brands so I can’t really compare it with anything.

After a bit of practice, I found that for the best result came from applying one thin coat, leaving it to mostly dry, then applying a thicker coat and quickly hovering the magnetic lid over the nail. I found that on my thumb nails I had to rock the lid from side to side, so the polish at the edges of my nail would react to the magnet.

The formula for this polish is very nice, it flows very smoothly, but it does take a bit longer to dry. The polish is a very standard metallic grey when you first put it on, but hold the magnet to it and it transforms to black, gunmetal and silver stripes that look like they are moving!

For this I used a base of two coats Black on Black from Sinfulcolors, for the gradient I used Cosmic Dust from China Glaze,  followed by a coat of Seche Vite.

The stamping plate I used Is from Moyou, it’s plate XL 04 from the Pro Collection, I used Konad SP in black for the print. And I finished it all off with one more coat of Seche Vite

Halloween Nail Art!

Hello!

Here is my first Halloween Nail art for this year! 😀

Halloween Nail Art

Halloween Nail Art

For this I used Secret Agent from Color Club, Couture Grey from Maybelline, Night Moves From Barielle Shades, Cosmic Dust from China Glaze, Black on Black from Sinfulcolors and Konad SP in black!

I started with a sponged gradient using Secret Agent, Couture Grey and Cosmic Dust.

For the moon I used Night Moves, to get the circle I painted two thick coats onto a plastic bag and left it to dry, then peeled the polish from the bag and used a hole punch to make it! I stuck it to my nail with a dab of the grey polish and covered it with a coat of Seche Vite to secure it in place.

After all of that dried I used Konad special polish in black for the stamping, the plates I used where some cheap unbranded ones from Ebay! It did take me quite a few attempts to get a good image from them, but the final result was worth it 🙂  Then one final coat of Seche to finish it off!

St Mark’s Square

St Marks Square

St Marks Square

This is a really nice lilac foil, really nice to apply, good consistansy and flow from the brush, fast drying, not as much pigment as I would like but it is a very pretty colour, this was two coats.

Clifford Street

Clifford Street

Clifford Street

Clifford Street is a lovely dark purple grey creme with gold iridescent glitter, it is lovely to apply, really nice consistancy, good amount of pigment, the gold glitter adds depth to the polish. there was some dragging while I was applying this polish, this was two coats that dried quickly.

Old Bond Street

Old Bond Street

Old Bond Street

Old Bond Street is a lovely mid grey with pink shimmer.  this is a really lovely polish, such a shame it is a limited edition it is great to apply and fast drying,

Franklins Row

Franklins Row

Franklins Row

Franklins Row is a dark purple with purple and blue iridescent glitter and blue shimmer. This is an amazing colour, so sparkly! This was three coats it has a slightly sticky consistency probably from all the glitter the flow from the brush is much slower and so is harder to apply than the others.

Cheyne Walk

Cheyne Walk

Cheyne Walk

Cheyne Walk is from the Mirror Metallic range it has a pink/purple metallic finish this too 3 coats. It is a very pretty colour, easy to apply, but slower drying than I would like.

Oxford Street

Oxford Street Matte

Oxford Street Matte

Oxford Street is a matte black this was one coat dried in a matter of seconds, a bit tricky to apply because it dries so quickly, but this is a fantastic matte polish, it states on the bottle that this won’t last as long as the other Nails Inc. products. Unfortunately this is a hard to find limited edition! It has lots of pigment so was very messy to remove.

Holographic Glitter Fish Nail Stamping.

Holographic Glitter Fish!

Holographic Glitter Fish!

For this manicure I decided to use an image from a Messy Mansion stamping plate that I don’t usually use! I really love this plate, it is one of my favorite plates from my collection 🙂

I started off with one coat of Style Slave fast finish polish from 17, followed by two coats of Starchild from Barielle Shades then a coat of Seche Vite to seal in the glitter. I used Konad special stamping polish for the image (and scorn from Illamasqua to cover the bits that I messed up) followed by yet another coat of Seche Vite.

I really like how this turned out the fish are so much more glittery than I can show in the pictures 🙂
